By providing an opportunity to play soccer in Sardis we hope to remove some of the barriers:

  • Travel for some families is reduced by locating closer to home and school
  • The cost of soccer should not stop anyone from playing
  • We’ve worked hard to ensure our fees directly reflect the costs of the program
  • We’ve successfully raised financial support to ensure no one is turned away. We are happy to
share we’ve secured support to help those for whom cost is still a challenge
  • Everyone deserves a safe, high-quality experience

All youth soccer associations are required to be non-profit societies as per BC Soccer, in addition Tzeachten FC has applied for charitable status. Led by Chief Derek Epp, Tzeachten First Nation began the initial work to turn the idea of a new soccer club into a reality through the creation of the Tzeachten FC Steering Committee. Five members of that committee have now become the founding Board of Directors for the Tzeachten Youth Soccer Association (aka Tzeachten FC).

An AMG will be held to elect the full Board of Directors. In addition, an application to join the Fraser Valley Youth Soccer Association has been submitted. Belonging to the FVYSA will allow our teams to play inter-district games and be a part of the BC Coastal Soccer League.

Tzeachten FC is ready to open its fields to all youth soccer players. We will be offering the following:

Soccer Camps
Elite Soccer Camps
U4 Micro Soccer for 3-year-olds (born 2019)
U5-U10 Mini-Ball Soccer (born 2013-2018)
U11-U18 Recreation House Soccer (born 2005-2012)
U10-U18 Development Soccer (born 2005-2013)
Academy Program

In 2017 Tzeachten First Nation invested in the community, creating the Tzeachten Sports Complex. The facility includes a synthetic sports field with lights, two irrigated grass field and a clubhouse with gathering space, a concession and washrooms. Located in Sardis, Tzeachten FC will be open to anyone in the community wanting to play. As we expand programs additional fields will be utilized.

You’ll see a familiar face when you step on the field-Glenn Wilson has joined Tzeachten FC as the new Technical Director. With a long history of leading soccer programs and building relationships with parents, players and coaches, Glenn is excited to bring his expertise and passion to the new club and we are thrilled to have his expertise and leadership.

The new club already has a growing list of excellent coaches ready to get on the pitch and volunteers eager to bring soccer to Sardis.

Keep an eye out on our social media, coaches’ profiles will be coming soon!

Registration for Development Evaluations has already begun, and program registration is set to open soon!

We are happy to share we are using Team SNAP as our registration management system. In addition to supporting registration for soccer programs the Team SNAP application allows you to manage your team communications, scheduling and other exciting functions. Program registration dates and details will be available soon.

As a new club it is important that all players interested in participating in Development level soccer are evaluated by the Technical Director and Development team coaches.

We also want to encourage any players who might not have considered play at this level because of cost or travel to come out and join the evaluation process. This is a positive growth experience for any player interested in continuing to develop and a great opportunity to talk with current development players about what it’s like to play at this level.

We hope to see you out on your night!

By ensuring that fees are manageable, Tzeachten FC is looking forward to welcoming families, who in the past have had to choose what activities their children can be part of based on cost over passion.

Transparency in fees is important to us. Each fee has been broken down to show the true cost of the program for your player, you will be able to see where your dollars are going!

The application to join the Fraser Valley Youth Soccer Association is in process and information about programs, fees and registration will be available soon.
